Brielle Okenfuss, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Certified Personal Trainer
I specialize in helping athletes and active individuals recover from injuries, build resilience, and move with confidence through personalized, one-on-one physical therapy and strength-based training.“I first discovered physical therapy as a competitive gymnast growing up in St. Louis. After injuries ended my athletic career at 17, I shifted into coaching and became fascinated with how the body adapts, heals, and performs. That early exposure ignited a passion for movement optimization and injury prevention that has shaped my career ever since.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Missouri State University, later becoming a NASM-certified personal trainer and gaining experience in both personal training and group fitness environments. Over the years, I have explored bodybuilding, powerlifting, CrossFit, yoga, and Pilates-inspired training. That variety reinforced my belief that fitness is not one-size-fits-all and that strong movement patterns are the foundation for long-term performance.
After relocating to Dallas in 2024 as a travel physical therapist, I gained firsthand experience in high-volume, insurance-based clinics. While these settings can be beneficial, I saw the limitations of treating patients like numbers instead of individuals. That realization led me to pursue private practice, where I could finally provide the concierge-style care people deserve—care that meets them where they are and helps them reach where they want to go.
My mission is simple: to empower people to understand their bodies, move efficiently, and perform without fear. I am excited to bring a higher standard of physical therapy and performance training to this community and to help you take control of your movement, strength, and health.”
